Israel prices on file are historical. Before any comparison runs, the system estimates the current Israel price for each item by identifying its material family, searching live market indexes (US Bureau of Labor Statistics PPI by category, DoD defense escalation rates, USD/ILS exchange rate), calculating index movement since the recorded date, and applying that movement to the last known price. Each prediction includes a confidence rating: High, Medium, or Low. Low confidence items are flagged for manual review.
